Sine Selman was born in 1992 in Bagdad, Iraq. The first six years of life she spent with her family in Libya, before coming to Switzerland in 1998. Sine Selman studied law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated in 2017 with a master’s degree.
Subsequently, she worked in law enforcement at the public prosecutor of St. Gallen and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office in Bern. She is currently working at the Rorschach Civil and Criminal Court as an extraordinary court clerk, publishing scientific papers in renowned legal journals and preparing for the bar exam.
Sine is responsible for organising the film festival and the association’s legal affairs.
