Abdellah, the grown-up, god-fearing son of a Berber shepherd, rides into the village on a donkey to get food for the starving goats. But the village is deserted; only a madman remains to explain to him what event is responsible. Abdellah’s worldview is badly shaken.

“Close Encounters of the Moroccan kind”, beautifully and mysteriously told and awarded the Grand Jury Prize in Sundance.
