All This Victory

During the Lebanon War in 2006, Marwan drives south from Beirut to get his father out of the combat zone. When he reaches his native village, his father is not there; only two old neighbours remain. Suddenly, a platoon of Israeli soldiers arrives, so the three men and other stragglers have to hide inside a house. The unsuspecting Israelis move into the upper storey.

Tense, claustrophobic drama.

Ahmad Ghossein is a filmmaker and artist, born in Beirut in 1981.

«All This Victory», his first feature film, won several awards at the Venice Film Festival.
